Like our local International Rugby venue, the naming rights to this challenge is up for grabs - whoever climbs this years hill the fastest will get their name immortalised for next years version.
The hill in question is Col De Sandown, albeit a slightly tweaked segment from the official one which can be found here - https://www.strava.com/segments/37600096.
The start of the segment is the lamppost on the right immediately after the corner and the finish is the controlled parking sign on the left just before the pub.
The points will be awarded based on time for the segment as follows:
Men
2mins or less = 1 point
1min 50secs or less = 2 points
1min 40secs or less = 3 points
1min 30secs  or less = 4 points
Women
2mins 30secs or less = 1 point
2mins 20secs or less = 2 points
2mins 10secs or less = 3 points
2mins or less = 4 points
A bonus point will be awarded to the man and women with the fast time.
The naming rights to next years challenge will go to the rider who betters their genders 4 point time be the biggest margin.
A maximum of 5 points can be obtained.
