Club members meet every Sunday mornings in front of the Teddington Library on Waldegrave Road for our:
Social Ride - 8.30am start
Typically 15 to 25 miles in approximately 2/ 2.5 hours, average speed around 13 mph.
This is a relaxed, social ride for riders who just want to enjoy riding in good company and keep fit. The ride usually heads to Richmond Park or Windsor and includes a cake and coffee stop at the end of the ride.
Club Ride - 7.45am in Summer (8.00am in Winter)
Anything from 40 miles to 70+ miles, average speed from 15/17mph.
Depending on numbers we can split this ride in 2 groups and usually head towards Windsor or the Surrey Hills. We always try to plan a coffee stop during these rides.
Women's Ride - 8.00am every OTHER Sunday
Our women only rides are for ladies with a road bike who have a reasonable level of fitness, but no previous club cycling experience is required.
The rides are 1h30 to 2h long and include a coffee/cake stop.
Here are a few of our favourite routes - We also maintain a Routes Repository for our members.
In addition to our Sunday rides, members often arrange informal mid-week rides and these are usually posted on our Facebook page or advertised through our What's App group.
Your bike must be in good condition with gears and brakes in full working orders, tyres pumped up and checked. Please note that each rider should carry inner tubes, tyre levers, pump and a mobile phone as well a drink and food (energy bars, gels). Helmets are compulsory for our club rides.
