Waldy 2025 Challenge - August Update

I'd like to start by offering my apologies, work and personal demands on my time has meant I've got way behind with updating the points, I've only just calculated June & July's. Hence I'm sharing this update via the website as it would be too big for WhatsApp. 

June - Navigation - Lets get out and see some scenic locations 

Kudos to Simon Bricknell & Rich W for reaching 12 locations and securing 4 points. Simon impressively covered 8 locations in one amazing ride, earning an extra point for visiting more than 6 in one go, plus a bonus for the most overall. I also want to highlight Jacky & Richard T for their incredible ride together, where they visited six locations, bringing their total to 10 locations each and earning 4 points.

Hopefully all of the people that participated enjoyed this new challenge, please do share your thoughts with me either way.

July - TDF - Winning big requires riding far and climbing high

Actually having a summer allowed some of the challengers to embrace the TDF theme and go all Tadej.

July's top 4 performances where:

• Stuart L - 1,500km and 15,500m - 17 points

• Joey - 1,200km and 14400m - 15 points

• Jacky - 1,060km and 12,977m - 13 points

• Alex - 657km and 14,444m - 12 points

Lots of others managed some impressive numbers but these people set the bar very high.

Overall

The big points available over the last couple of months have seen lots of changes in the leaderboards and with 4 events and plenty of points left there's all to play for:
