Waldy Challenge 2025 - July - Tour de France

Welcome to the July 2025 challenge

It’s time for La Grande Boucle.

The Tour de France Grand Depart is in Lille on Saturday so just like Tadej, Jonas and honorary Waldy Remco, July is about going large. 

This month's challenge is a chance to earn big and shake up the standings with no maximum points. 

The scoring is simple (although more challenging than last November's version):

1pt for every 1500 metres climbed in July.

and 

1pt for every 200 kilometres ridden in July.

e.g. Ride 2000 kms and climb 7500m and earn 15 points. 

Only rides outdoors count but they can be anywhere as UK weather is not an impediment. Rides of any length/elevation contribute to the totals at the end of the month.

There are no monthly bonus points this month and points are to be claimed by midnight on 3rd of August 2025.

Ongoing bonus points claimed are on an honesty basis and to be input into the google spreadsheet via the website. Navigate to the Waldy Challenge page and in the middle right of the page, press add bonuses; you will then be taken to the google sheet.
